A 31-member Barcelona squad jetted off to Orlando, Florida on Sunday as they are all set to play three pre-season friendly matches in the United States. Hansi Flick, however, will miss the services of as many as 10 important first-team players on the tour.

Players like Ronald Araujo, Pedri, Gavi, Frenkie de Jong and Ansu Fati have not travelled with the team due to injuries while Spain's Euro 2024 heroes Lamine Yamal and Ferran Torres are enjoying a well-earned holiday at the moment. Young guns like Pau Cubarsi, Fermin Lopez and Eric Garcia are in Paris to participate in the ongoing Olympic games for the Spain U23 side.

Senior players like Ilkay Gundogan and Raphinha have not taken the same flight as the rest of the squad and will travel to Orlando on their own. Jules Kounde, on the other hand, will join the squad in Annapolis, Maryland, on Thursday, according to ESPN.
